Here at The Y, Everyone Is Welcome

The Y is a membership organization open to all people. We welcome women, men, girls and boys of all ages, races, ethnicity, religions, abilities, sexual orientations and financial circumstances. Our programs and services embrace diversity, reflecting the people and needs of our communities.

Our Cause

At the Y, strengthening community is our cause. We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors. That's why we focus our work in three areas:

Youth Development - Nurturing the potential of children and teens Healthy Living - Improving community health and well-being Social Responsibility - Working together to support our neighbors

Our Mission

The Mission of the Wenatchee Valley YMCA is to strengthen youth, families, and communities by promoting Christian principles and putting them into practice through leadership and programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.

Equity Statement

The Y actively promotes a culture free from bias and injustice. We are dedicated to removing institutional and systemic barriers that were created by and perpetuated for oppression and racism. We will be accountable to marginalized communities for creating equitable and sustainable environments where social justice is woven into our programs, and by caring for our communities in a culturally versatile and respectful manner.

Tribal Land Recognition

The Wenatchee Valley YMCA (Y) strives to promote for all people a community of recognition, inclusion, and respect. The Y operates upon and serves the communities enriched by the traditional lands of the P’squosa people (known as the Wenatchi during treaty negotiations). We make this acknowledgement in hopes of developing genuine relationships with the P’squosa people and to recognize and express gratitude to the P’squosa ancestors, the first inhabitants and stewards of the Wenatchee Valley, for their foresight in caring for and respecting the land and waterways.
