Program Subsidies

The Wenatchee Valley YMCA provides services to all those who need them regardless of ability to pay by setting fees at rates affordable to a majority of residents in its service area and providing financial assistance to those for whom YMCA fees are not affordable. The Working Member program provides a YMCA membership for a reduced fee and the YMCA Therapy Swim program has been offered free to the community for nearly 50 years. Please call us for more information on Financial Assistance.
Youth program subsidies are made possible by contributions, a United Way allocation, endowment earnings, volunteer services, and an adult program surplus.

Partners with Youth

No child is ever denied participation at the YMCA because of inability to pay. In 2007, over 4,600 Youth Scholarships were awarded. These scholarships were made possible through the generosity of more than 800 individuals and businesses. In 2007, the YMCA raised over $125,000 to keep its growing scholarship commitment. 100% of each contribution is used for youth scholarships. If you would like more information on YMCA Youth Scholarships of the YMCA Partners with Youth Campaign, please contact the YMCA Executive Director, Eric Nelson.
